         Mensa Prescott-Jones is the epitome of a professional educator. She has 15-years experience as a traditional classroom teacher, Montessori educator, Reading Intervention Specialist, Lead Guide, Test Coordinator, Anti-Bullying/Cyber Bullying Liaison, Student Support Team Coordinator, Student Learning Objective Ambassador (SLO), Mindful Guide, and Educational Associate.  She also served as  a youth coach and  guided two championship soccer teams. Mensa is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and has a bachelor's of arts degree in English Education. She holds credentials in Montessori Education from Association Montessori International (AMI) and she graduated from Loyola University-Maryland, with a master's degree in  Montessori Education.

         Mensa has an unmatched desire to inspire and partner with fellow educators, parents and like-minded allies to ensure the mindful, equitable-delivery of education and mentorship to young scholars. Mensa believes that excellence in education begins with excellence in educators! Her hands-on, mindful approach to training, coaching and professional development, has generated sustained success for school administrators, faculty, students and parents, in Virginia, Washington DC, and Baltimore-Maryland. Mensa's passion for education is evident as she continues to devote her time, energy and resources to ensure all students, parents and educators have the opportunity to achieve personal, professional, and academic success!
